Massive Fleets Update Comes To Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, the real-time strategy game from Tindalos Interactive, is now four times as chaotic. They’ve introduced what they call the “Massive Fleets Uodate” to the game, increasing the number of ships possible as well as the damage they can do. The update is free.
In Massive Fleets mode, the points cap for fleets in single-player skirmishes and 1v1 battles is raised from 1,200 to 4,000, allowing for truly battlefield-spanning force compositions to clash. In addition, it unlocks previously campaign-only ships such as the Imperial Phalanx and the Tyranid Ancient One for use in this mode, letting you bring the galaxy’s most terrifying weapons to bear against your opponents.
The sheer firepower unleashed by the Massive Fleets Update is so immense, Tindalos is recommending that it only be played by those with hardware powerful enough to push it. For vaguely explained reasons, there is also no matchmaking feature for the Massive Fleets Update (Tindalos suggests using Discord).
The update that introduces Massive Fleets also includes a rebalance for the game as a whole. Tindalos is now working on a on a fourth narrative campaign for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. The game is available now for PC.
