Mass effect 3 ruined the series.Just like the ending of sopranos that ruined the entire run of the show…..and don’t get me started on LOST… thanks but no thanks…I played them and i don’t want to live through that heartbreak again.

I guess it would be nice to have all three games for the PS4 and Xbox One. But will people re-buy [since its available for PC, PS3 and X360]? I guess that will come down to how much work they have put into the remaster. Will all of the DLC be available? will the graphics be much better than the previous gen? will it run at a smooth 60fps?

I not sure if you’re aware of this, but your perception does not shape the reality of others. Plenty of people enjoyed Mass Effect 3, and didn’t feel the ending was ruined at all. You’re stating your opinion, which is your right, but stating your opinion as if it is fact is ludicrous. I am very much looking forward to the next Mass Effect, and I consider the ME trilogy to be my favorite in gaming history, and that includes Uncharted, which I also love. I am far from alone in that sentiment.

I love the ME games. I believe it’s being released for PS4/Xbox1 so we can have saves leading into ME4. Although Shepard isn’t the main character, I’m sure those save will alter the story in ME4.

If they don’t change that ridiculous ending in ME3, what’s the point. No thanks. Our choices didn’t really matter in ME3 and now ME4 is not about Sheppard so why would I want to play the previous trilogy with that broken ending. We don’t.

Mass effect series are among my top 5 games ever, along uncharted, god of war, etc.
I put at least 300-500 hours on several play through, on me, 2 and me3.
I bought all the content, extensions, weapon packs, everything, and I am too afraid of not being able to download them, in 2-4 years, if I feel like replaying the series from scratch, with a new character, etc. Without all those extensions and weapons packs, it wouldn’t just be the same. At all.
NOW, if there is a single chance for having mass effect 1-2-3 running at an amazing 1080p60fps, with perfect crispy highres textures, ultra-smooth frame rate, 3 times more polygons for enemies and main characters, even better particles, light effects from weapons, a better lighting, etc etc
+
All the purchasable content, from dlcs, extensions, weapons, outfits, everything, included in the game
+
Fine tuning for some weapons, enemies hit detection, some enemies more difficult or more easy to kill(more or less shots needed, etc…)
+
Many more enemies during attacks, more zombies, etc
+
Almost no loading screens, or waiting 2 minutes to list all the saved files(max 30, but after 20, it started taking took long, even just to remove a save file)
+
Using the touchpad on the dualshock4, for choosing dialogs, or different ds4 lights when using some weapons, or having Jeff/AI voice coming out of the ds4
+ some big bonus like:
-bioware could create 4 or 5 new weapons for each mass effect game, and some cool outfits( a liara in pink, anyone? Or a Miranda with a moving skirt… or a garrus with a top tank saying’ still calibrating…’ and some shorts, or James with full black leather and a huge moustache a LA YMCA, or any other crazy outfits
– a new created HUGE level for mass effect 2, twice the size of omega level, where we could for example, visit the planet earth, or even the moon(we would be able to see the planet earth from there, as a background vista). A huge level on the moon would be cool.. or on earth, with some tropical levels, beaches, etc.bioware, you could do it!!
– weapons powers readjusted, more or less ammo, more powerful scopes
– more different hidden accessories for some weapons, for recoil, ammo, adding new characteristics, new powers, etc
– maybe a new companion for mass effect 2 and 3
– new accessories to find, for the current armors, and even some new armors, or at least, different colors or shaders ( texture effects, for a real plastic look, or 100% mat, or ultra shiny, brilliant, etc)
– they could add some effects to our Shepard: for example, during a mission, after being hit too many times, even with 100% health, bioware could make armors burn, start melting… or starting freezing, etc
– many new hair styles, colors, moustaches, different skin colors, more deformation points/zones, etc. We could also take some pictures with the new ps4 camera, and apply our skin /flesh tone, eyes position, nose shape, eyes color, ear size, etc, to make Shepherd look like us
– many new bonus, new weapons, new grenades(easy to do, just a few tweaks on the particles/colors code…), different colors and smoke/ice/fire trails for the fired bullets
– a cool jetpack for mass effect 1, when exploring planets by foot, could be a great and fun way to move across the area, and still being able to fire bullets or rockets
– a new zone inside Normandy/SR2 where we can try and test our weapons, quickly. In mass effect 3, it was just so fking boring, to try a new weapon: fly to the citadel, choose a,b,c. Walk to our spectre office, enter the fire zone.open weapons inventory, choose weapons, quit selection, shot the targets, without any kind of explanation on what does that weapon do, what enemies it is useful for, or maybe just tell us if it’s better against organics, shields, etc. We would just empty all ammo, over and over. Wanna try next shotgun, pistol, sniper rifle, etc? Just lose another 10 minutes repeating all that. When finished, walk and pick the elevator, walk until Normandy, another minute seeing the takeoff video.
Please give us a zone inside Normandy where we can quickly know, even before upgrading this or that accessory, if X weapon with Y ammo fired against a,b,c,d,f enemies , is more efficient, fast, precise, slow, or instead, it’s better against shields, or some kind of enemies, etc.
Too many time lost reloading a save file and restarting the mission because the new weapon that looked too cool just sucked hard.
– I could go on and on. But 1080p60fps with ALL the released content and all updates, just that, it would already be a system seller.
I am sure among the 10-20 million mass effect fans, bioware would sell 10 million Xbox one/ps4 units in just a little month. Who wouldn’t like to play these games on his couch, with perfect graphics, all content, no loading time, perfect textures, more polygons, 10 times better than on the ps3 or x360, at a smooth 60fps. Who wouldn’t want it? At least 90% of console gamers.
At least, for me, it would be like a dream came true. I would pay 150$ for it. Oh yeah I would.
Sorry for big comment, but I just can’t hide my joy and excitement with such news 🙂
Now, it’s your tuen, naughty dog, while you are making uncharted 4, please, just hire a couple of guys, and make a fantastic version of uncharted 1,2 and 3, 1080p60fps, with the polygon and texture quality slider crancked up ,and release those 3 games on the ps4.
And be ready to sell 10 million units in the first 10 days. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh it would be mmmmaaaassssiiivvveee. Do that to your fans, please.
And create a mega bundle with uncharted 1-2-3 and FOUR, 100-120$. It would be great.
People, excepting a few games that unfortunately are online only, like deep down and elder scrolls online and h1z1, at least, for the ps4, it’s good to be a console gamer. With the fantastic announced games, with plenty of ps3 AAA –> ps4 ports like the last of us, with all the incoming ps4 games + tons of great indie content, gaikai, that will let people play old games, with all the remakes, like(maybe, but I really hope it happens) mass effect ps4 port, and seeing the quality of the first games, running on a probably 10% of ps4 power, without even using the 64 acu’s, GPU compute, on unfinished AMD drivers that haven’t unlocked most of the ps4 custom features, and with just that, people are already having games like infamous ss quality, with the huge firmware that I hope, will add a huge layer of multimedia stuff, like audio and video playback, among thousands of other great things ( Sony, I know mkvs are YOUR blurays RIPs, but if you don’t do it, all the others will, so please, add mkv playback support, and dozens millions extra buyers would become interested in the system), with all this, it’s really a great time to be a Sony gamer and using those consoles for the gamers, with amazing features like remote play thousands miles from home, via the PS vita.
No PR crap, no special sauces, no fabulous announcements for amazing 10-50-100-300% unleashed power, no great comments and fantastic supportive websites, no extra power from the elements of the planet earth, no ads , no paywalls on everything and everywhere, no micro transactions on 90% of the games, no lies, no promises for some incoming fabulous games, no special direct drivers that add 5x more power, no slavery. No indoctrination. No ugly last gen low resolution graphics that get 9.5/10 from paid off websites and journalists. No crap like that.
ONLY amazing games for the gamers, with bigger-than-the-moon room for improvements , until the PS5 comes out. Only great content, tons of free content via the PS+, with great new AAA stuff every single week. Only great options and features for all the gamers in the world , instead of thinking exclusively about a single country and people.
The fun from the nineties is back again. It’s back 4 the gamers 🙂

Yup. Unless they fix ME3, this is a waste of time. Which is how we all felt when we finished ME3.
