High Octane Pictures’ November Lineup
High Octane Pictures sent us a reminder today regarding the three films it plans to release in November. We’ve got horror, we’ve got sci-fi, and….we’ve got horror again.
First up is Blood Myth, a Midsommar-like story from the middle of nowhere:
From High Octane Pictures a frightening rural spookfest in the vein of Midsommar. A journalist desperately tries to find his missing fiancée and finally uncover the truth behind a sinister folklore, leading him down a dangerous road of discovery. Jonathan McClean, Anna Dawson, and Hannah Chalmers star in Blood Myth.
Next comes Ellipse, an outer space tale of survival starring Josiah Authier and Grant Martin:
When a man has lost everything, it’s easy to self-destruct. Alcohol, silence, and self-loathing help to speed up the process, however, life must go on… Our story finds us during a typical work day for an intergalactic military surveyor and his canine partner on a solo fight near an undefined, oval-shaped planet. Because of his self-destructive coping methods, a simple fly-by soon turns into an emergency crash landing… leaving a man and his dog in dire straits.
And finally, there’s Marla, described as “Carrie meets It Follows”:
Starring van Dam-Bates, Travis Johnny Ware, Jason Stange and Katie Hemming, the film explores the terrifying account of a girl who goes to get an IUD implanted by a family friend turned doctor who then commits a deranged act. The event has deadly implications for those close to her.
All three of these movies will be released on DVD and VOD the same day: November 5. Read more about each individual film here, here and here.
