Goro, everyone’s favorite half-man half-dragon killing machine has already been long confirmed for Mortal Kombat X. Yet we’ve only gotten small glimpses of his epicness in previous clips and trailers of the game. No more!
Now, a full-on trailer (that was actually revealed during a livestream titled “Goro Lives”, nice title) featuring the four-armed beast has arrived, and just as you’d expect, he’s pretty epic.
Well…that was impactful. But wait, there’s more! We have details on not just the moves you saw in the trailer, but the fighting styles Goro will have in the game.
As per the usual, Goro has three different styles to choose from. Firs up is Tigrar Fury, in which Goro gains his flame ball ability along with his dragon breath.
Next up is Kuatan Warrior, where he gets a powerful ground pound technique, and a chest charge.
Oh, and that Fatality you saw him use on Johnny Cage? That was only half the fatality, the other half is he pulls the head back out of the body. But not in the usual way, but in a very Mortal Kombat way.
To get Goro, you’ll either need to pre-order the game, or wait for Netherrealms to release him generally, which they will do. Though we don’t know when exactly they’ll do so.
Mortal Kombat X arrives on PS4 and Xbox One on April 14.

Its spare cel-shaded visuals are rendered
There’s a new roguelite platformer, Scourgebringer, that just arrived on Playstation 4 and Vita…yes, we said Vita. You might have heard Sony had plans to shut down the digital market, but they changed their mind a week later. They probably held off the handheld’s execution date so this specific game
Developer Monochrome and Publisher Hatinh Interactive have announced Tandem: A Tale of Shadows, a puzzle platformer with a Verne-inspired story and Burton-inspired visuals. Thomas Kane, son of a famous family of illusionists, has disappeared without a trace. His friend Emma wants to know what’s going on, and decides the only
The 3D action game Bleach: Brave Souls has been around for a while on PC and mobile, but it’s about to cross over to consoles with a version for Playstation 4, now in development. Details are light, but the PS4 version is expected to be the same game as what’s
