Zyuranger's Costume Pattern

Those are fangs, not fang marks.

Don't say "same difference" again to this. :redface2:

Okay then, maybe the design is fangs themselves, my mistake. Even so, I don't recall seeing fangs or teeth or any kind that were in a perfect diamond shape. I'd be more inclined to believe it if we were looking at the Green Ranger/Dragon Ranger's boots and gloves, which only have a triangle or half diamond pattern.

[HIDE]Same difference. :loltongue:[/HIDE]

I still stand on the idea that it's just coincidence, but then again, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Japan really was following through with a theme and wanted to secretly fit in a fang/fang mark design on the costumes without making it overly obvious.

Humor me for a minute. If that's the case, would the same be true for the diamond pattern that decorates the arms and legs of the AbaRangers/Dino Thunder Rangers? If I recall, those diamonds turned into dino scales. Maybe the same is true for ZyuRanger/MMPR? Maybe the diamond pattern is suppose to represent dino scales? :169:

Have you seen the morphing sequence for Power Rangers Lost Galaxy? Where they make the black zig-zag stripe on the suits look like the black inside of a mouth as the jaws come together? What they're trying to get at is whether the Zyuranger suits were meant to suggest something similar or whether it's just a diamond pattern. Personally I always just figured it was diamonds and it was later fan drawings (possibly influenced by PRLG) that tried to make the jaws connection.
