And I never said that they did. You seem to be obsessing over a particular connection I never intended to make. It's not that they're following the same exact trend that Bandai did, it's that they're following Bandai's lead by doing something tokusatsu.
I don't buy non-jumbo vinyls anymore but I might hunt down the Zone Fighter one just because he is a character that so far I have no representation of in figure form. It's hips do look a bit big but that's the case with many vintage style vinyls the proportions aren't always that great. Lol.
EDIT: Just looked up the price and what it comes with on AmiAmi. 3470 yen for a figure that only comes with two extra sets of hands...? It comes with the Meteor Missile Might bracelets but no Meteor Proton Beam? Not even a plastic sheet for Zone/Hyper Barrier? Man =_= don't think I am picking this up.
