How was your geek week?

This includes all things geek. From comic books, to cartoons, anime music, video games and anything you can get your geek on to. Build a computer? Let us know. Go to a concert? Let us know.

Sure, some of this might be redundant, but I'd just like to know how and what your geeking off to is going in whatever it is you might be doing. DVD's, martial arts, or whatever.

Let it be known and pictures are encouraged. :thumbs:

My geek week has been pretty jam packed and I'm proud.

Played a decent amount of Bioshock, blasted my way through a couple levels of Gears of War, am still closing in on the end of Phoenix Wright and even cracked open Final Fantasy XII again.

Bought myself some Ultimate X-Men, Booster Gold and Green Lantern.

I never told you guys this, but two years ago Bruce Kalish sent a killer SPD poster my way signed by the cast and drawn by Drew S...something... of Star Wars poster fame. As of yesterday, it's getting a killer frame to make sure it stays immortal forever.

I'll post pictures when I can.

Listen to a good range of geek podcasts from Team Fremont, to Filmspotting.net, to FanboyRadio(Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch of The Ultimates fame), 1UpYours always kicks ass....

On the anime front I finally caught an episode of Gunbuster 2 and was cheering outloud when she summoned her big bot. GekiRanger 27 continues to hold it's #1 spot as my favorite Sentai with a smile and a wink, and right now I'm about to watch Episode 224 of One Piece. Veoh.Com continues to keep me in the swing of keeping up on my favorite anime.

Finished up disc #3 of Season... 2 or 3 of Smallville where Lex has seemingly gone insane. I find myself liking the show more and more and still hate it for never introducing Bruce Wayne.

What else in my world of geek..... hmm... oh, and I purchased a new laptop that by all accounts seems nothing short of killer.

Not bad. Aside from the glorious experience of watching Thor beat the holy hell out of Iron Man, I found a couple of vintage 80's cartoons on Demonoid, which I'll be posting to Veoh after my current project there is done. After that, I'll finish Gundam SEED sometime this week, so I can move on to watching Kabuto.

hmm....been pretty occupied with my class project, so i didnt do very much. but, i bought The City of Violence DVD last weekend and am still in the process of watching every single featurette in that thing. F'ing awesome movie.

but, i cannot compare to ur Geekness. i will try next week though haha.

I started watching Gundam SEED and I'm still watching Gransazer. I also started playing Ace Combat 5.

I got Ultimate FF vol 1 and 2, Scott Pilgrim vol 1 and 2, Meltdown the denfinitve collection, Transmetropolitan vol 1 getting 2 later. I downloaded Shibuya 15 and planning to finish FROM HELL and Fight Club this week.

My geekery, though unconventional, has unfortunately been a bit scarce this week due to relationship issues, school issues, workout issues, and other issues caused by people who have a problem with my being way awesomer than them. I haven't been engaging in as much macabre and horrific voodoo exploits, but I did have to time to purchase the second season of Tales From The Crypt which has been evading me forever, and to find and play all my Tiger Army albums while stuck inside during the rainy spell. I also picked up a Suicidal Tendencies comp and the Strike Anywhere release Dead FM, which were both good purchases. In the physical geekery realm my fight training has slowed due to business and I am getting fat, but it has given me a chance to watch and analyze a lot more fights and events, eating while I do so. I geek out for potato chips and Hot Pockets so I'll add those to the list. Since the weather is good now hopefully I'll be able to do some meditating and hiking today and tomorrow, jerk it to Attack of the Show, and catch up on my sleep before I get back to my seemingly aimless existance.

I've been tryin my best to catch with Agito. Watched Jigoku Shoujo then played FFXII. All the music I've been listening through out this week are from Toku. Can't blame me right?

Been watching Fist of the North Star on Veoh. I can't stress enough how much win this anime is made off.

I also tried searching for the Masterpiece Starscream at Wal-Mart, but no luck so far. He would make a nice complement to my 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.
