I'll just be listing series, otherwise it gets too complicated for me.
1.
Kamen Rider Hibiki (2005)- I've probably already listed tons of times why this is my favorite series ever. Fantastic characters, wonderful OST and visuals, story was a little disappointing, but it's a series that's hard for me to not like.
2.
Kamen Rider X (1974)- Jin Keisuke was an amazing main character in a terribly underrated series. He had to deal with the loss of his father and with the fact that it was pretty much his own fault. Then there's the Mizuki twins who were insane and awesome all at the same time. And one more thing, Apollo Geist? Yeah, he just about kicks every other villain's butt.
3.
Ultraman Max (2005)- I know someone will want to kill me for this, but sometimes you just need a series that lets you have fun and takes you back to the very roots of tokusatsu. Kaido was a fun, likable main character and the visuals for the series were awesome.
4.
Kamen Rider Agito (2001) - A set of amazing main characters, really stunning and simple suits in the Agitos and the Lords had some of the best villain designs out there. The story between Dark and Light was great, you don't get too many series where god himself is the actual enemy.
5.
Ultraman Leo (1974) - Leo himself wasn't the best main character at first, but he became much stronger later on and of course that has to do a lot with Dan. It was a great idea bringing in a seasoned character to play the mentor role and it did wonders for the series until Gen became a great character.
6.
Choushinsei Flashman (1986) - I love series that can give the heroes a mission, put them through Hell for it and then...they fail. The series still gave you hope at the end and I loved that bittersweet touch, it made the entire series worth it.
7.
Ultraman Nexus (2004) - A lot of people think the series is overrated, and it may be, but it has a lot of strengths. Sure, there's a stretch of episodes that got really angsty and you wanted to slap Komon, but it eventually got better, Jun's departure and finally finding happiness after all that he's seen was great. We later got Ren, who was such a refreshing character, for once in recent tokusatsu we had a character with a tragic past who didn't angst about it. He was happy and looked at life in a great way, just wanting to help people. The rest of the story was great too, even though it was a little packed in the final episodes due to being canceled, it was still a great plot.
8.
Gekisou Sentai Carranger (1996) - A fun Sentai that really helped breathe new life into the series. The main cast of characters was great, the series had great points of hilarity and still stood up on its own as a great series outside of the parody factor.
9.
Madan Senki Ryukendo (2006)- Again, sometimes you just need a series that's fun. Unlike a lot of other "fun" series though, this one did it in a great way. It had pretty good comedy, really great looking suits and villains and wonderful music, both OST and vocal. The story was a bit simplistic, but these characters were really fun to be around. To me the series felt like it was 50 episodes with episodes 51 and 52 being DtV specials that closed up the story really good.
10.
Ultraman Gaia (1998) - A really epic series with a good hearted main character who was human and made mistakes just like the rest of us. At first it was a little odd having a bunch of genius kids work on saving the world, but it slowly started to make sense within the context of the series. The final episode was epic and we also got a follow up special, something I think a lot of other tokusatu need.
Honorable mentions: Gekiranger, Timeranger, Bioman, Jetman, Kakuranger, Gingaman, Maskman, Sazer X, KR BLACK, Zubat, Metalder, Jiraiya
Veeeery much so.
