[Cartoon] Young Justice - Talkback

I like Adventure Time, Regular Show I sadly couldn't get into.

I admit I won't be watching Teen Titans.

I just don't like the art style

You know that wasn't the artstyle that the original series had, right?

The first series looked like this:

Teen Titans imo (I hated the show until the last season)

Aw, you didn't like Ron Perlman as Slade? I thought that was one of the best parts (especially in Birthmark when he pushes Raven off a building and just gives this extremely nonchalant "Happy Birthday!").

I see it as losing 3 shows. Young Justice, Green Lantern TAS, and my fond memories of the original Teen Titans cartoon...

Does the new show at least use original voice cast?

I'm aware, and I have no problem with the original's art style. Just the new one that I'm not really digging.

Yeah, that's the big hook that the producers thought will bring the fans of the original back.

Apparently they don't realize how fickle we are, we will call them out of they change it, but we won't give them any points for doign what we expect them to do

Smart move on the exces part. I'm sure the outrage would've been bigger had they gone with new VAs.

The last hiatus was blatant stunt to wait for Teen Titans Go to be ready to air.

the hiatus wasn't so they can prepare for go. cartoon network didn't want teen titans on their network anymore even though the guys at teen titans wanted to make a season 6 and so on

I'm talking about Young Justice's last hiatus (the one that even the directors of the show didn't know about), not Teen Titans cancellation.

Live action and flash animation is cheaper to produce than good animation. Its all about making a buck than making quality product

Oooh yes, this has been quite evident for a few years now, with all three major kids networks.

I know I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover; Green Lantern was great despite not really liking the CGI style all that much at first. It's just hard to get excited for these shows knowing that we're loosing these two great ones because of it...

Not going to lie, when I first saw the promotion pic for the current GL series I was immediately turned-off. I'm not a fan of cgi shows in the slightest. It's good to hear it is a solid series though, because that doesn't usually come with the package.

The last hiatus was blatant stunt to wait for Teen Titans Go to be ready to air.

That's a tad ridiculous.

You guys sound ridiculous blaming one show for another being canned. Teen Titans wasn't made because CN didn't like Young Justice. Teen Titans was made because Young Justice didn't have ratings and didn't sell toys. You talk about quality products but if your job was to run a channel that had amazing shows that no one watched you wouldn't have that job for long. Was Young Justice the most mishandled show ever? Yes but it's not CN execs "selling out" or one show being favored over the other.

I like how people are blaming the cancellation of Young Justice and Green Lantern on Teen Titans Go instead of ya know? Beware the Batman. ANOTHER Batman cartoon?

Definitely not Annoying Orange. Adventure Time and Regular Show does their fair share and still gives the humor that both kids AND adults (strangely) can relate to. Annoying Orange, I just wanna punch a goat.

Yeah Annoying Orange is terrible, but like Johnny Test it is very cheap to produce and kids seem to enjoy it

I did enjoy Slade, I just didn't like the overt anime style of the show. It felt too try hard imo and always took me completely out of the show, when it was serious it shined.
