Xbox 360 Games Recommendation

So I've started back playing 360 games after a full 2 years. Mainly because I got extremely annoyed when my 360 broke again after getting it fixed in the same. But that was the old chunky 360 and I recently bought the new Slim and it's great. I bought a few new games to get me started, but they're kind of old. I bought Fallout: New Vegas, Fable 2, and Bioshock 2.

So, do any of you guys have recommendations for some games that I should play? Some games that are only for the 360? Not ones that uses multiplayer as the main feature though. I'm trying to stay from Xbox Live. I only play a couple hours whenever I do play, and Live is going to tempt me to play way more.

That being said I recommend:

*Assassins' Creed series. Second one is the superior game but you'd need to play the first one if you care at all about teh story.

*Gears of War. My favorite shooter franchise.

*Arkham Asylum. All-around awesome.

*Mass Effect. GIGANTIC game with a huge universe.

*Prototype, great mindless fun.

I don't own very many games. Just some sports games, and FPS, and some driving games. I missed out on good games that came out in the last 2 years, and I'm not what I missed. But I was thinking about branching out and trying some new genres. I was thinking about getting Arkham Asylum though. Is it pretty long? And I've the 2 Gears of War games that came out, which were awesome and fun to play.

The Lego games, Halo Reach, the Gears series, the Assassin's Creed series, Star Wars Force Unleashed I & II, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Red Dead Redemption (sort of like GTA in the old west), Transformers War for Cyberton.

I like playing RPGs, but they're just at the top of my list when it comes to wanting to play. I should try and take a crack at the ones you guys mentioned. Any good FPS that pretty good? Although, I've thought a lot about playing FF XIII. I've played most of the FF on the PS1/PS2.
