Xbox 360 n00b question: Is it wise to "install" all your games onto your Xbox 360 HDD

I ask this question b/c I've heard from many Xbox 360 owners that most 360 games that are installed onto their hard drives ultimately reduce the loading times for the games, and it reduces the noise from the 360 in terms of the disc being scanned when loading the games (even though the new 360 Slims reduces the noises significantly).

So from all of the experienced 360 owners on HJU, I ask you if this is a wise choice or not?

How could it NOT be a wise choice? There's no downside to it.

Aside from the advantages, you do realize the negatives of installing games to the 360 HDD is that it takes around 6 GB of HDD space :redface2:

No, really? I had no idea installing an entire game takes up a lot of hard drive space.

I'm assuming you've got a big enough drive to do this. Obviously you don't wanna install if you're short on space. I figured that didn't need to be said.

.........I kinda made this thread about this so I can have multiple opinions trying to debate between your little statement right there compared to the advantages of faster load times, etc.

You know, so I can see the perspectives between 360 owners that have the big HDD spaces in the 120 GB to 250 GB range compared to the other 360 owners with the 4 GB to 20 GB to 60 GB range.

I'm pretty sure the only game that it hinders is Halo 3. Other than that, it reduces wear on the DVD drive, so that can only be seen as a good thing.

Unless you have a 20gig HDD, why wouldn't you? I mean you don't have to install every game you own? Installing the games you are currently playing not only lowers the loading times, but it cuts down on the dvd drives usage.

Yeah, unless you're the type who plays more than one game at a time, it's generally a good idea to install it on the HD and then delete it when you're done.

The only reason you shouldn't do it is if you have a 20gb hard drive, and even then you should still install the 1 or 2 games you play most. Aside from the used up space and the occasional game it doesn't work for (ex: Halo 3) there's no downsides to it.
