how was that awesome? ; we didnt even get to see the sentinel. Colossus just throwns Wolvy into the air and we see nothing of the actual battle. Just cheap in my opinion. Damn cheap. But I still cant wait for the movie. Just I wish the action was visible. Not.. you know... cheap

Well, some have already speculated that it may not be the final finished footage that will be shown in the movie. I'm thinking they might want to keep some things left out of the promos, like the Sentinel's full body, or Phoenix's "firebird avatar" (if they use that).

Dude, it's unfinished footage. If you can't tell that by watching the clip, you don't know films at all. Look at the "foot" that crashes on the car, the one that isn't a foot. Look at the headlights used for the sentinel that aren't the same color as the lights on the actual Sentinel helmet. Listen to the way the audio sounds. It's obviously not a finished clip from the movie, just something they put in to show us that the Fastball special would be in there. Which is fucking awesome.

Read earlier in the thread where I actually said PRECISLY what you just said to me. I know it's unfinished footage, what I was addressing was another generic "how can you be a fan of X-Men if you don't like the footage" comment.

The fucking fastball special is an X-book tradition and is just plain awesome.

And if you keep bitching and moaning about how "It iz teh sukc Wolviy always has c1gars!!!111!!!!!1!!! Where is teh Sintinel!!!11!!!!" and all that other crap, then you are a fan, just one of those who picks apart every single part of every single piece of media that comes out and whines about how it's not consistent with Uncanny X-Men #259 or whatever.

It's called SUSPENDING YOUR DISBELIEF. You're supposed to do it when you go to the movies, in case you forgot.
