Wow! Is this for real? Dragon Knight will hit Japan.

The fight footage is actually worth rewatching in Japanese. As part of the dubbing process they re-do the foley, so the sounds of impact in fights are just a lot better. In the 4Kids version the sounds of impact are muted to fit US S&P standards.

New Interview with Murai Ryouta (Kamen Rider Spear/Albert Cho) or as you may know him, Onodera Yuusuke/Kuuga!

Could anyone please give translating this a shot? Any online translator I've found just garbles it (Randomly, "Cho" becomes "Butterfly" and "Albert Cho" becomes "Fat Albert" for some odd reason).

From what I can tell he mentions that alot of his sempai, including Matsuda, gave him good advice during the recording sessions, as well as talking about "ad libbing" while dubbing and comparing his experiences on Decade to Dragon Knight. He also says he's a large fan of the early Heisei Riders such as Ryuki and Agito.

It's surprising that I didn't see this earlier, there was another two page article on Dragon Knight in "Kamen Rider Magazine" (Winter 2009-2010 edition).

Here is page 1 and page 2.

Not much is new, though the article does seem a bit more in depth then just showing a few actors and the logo like previous ones. Notably they refer to Xaviax's human form as "Connors Charlie" (Odd as all other characters mentioned remain in western name format) as well as the new tagline in English: "Do not miss a new rider legend!"

I also recall at one point in the Japanese dub.. when a certain Rider was vented, Trent asked if he was 'dead'. I'm not calling this a strong point, but I remember someone saying that 4Kids refuses to allow any mention or implication of death in their television shows. :patriotic:

Ok, recently someone put up a truck load of clips from the Japanese dubbed Dragon Knight (most of them involving Strike in some way, as Tomazaku Sugita's fandom would). They're quite impressive, featuring a number of important moments; Murai Ryouta for example (Yuusuke/Kamen Rider Kuuga from Decade) does amazingly well as Albert (Spear) particularly his "venting scene".

If you ever wanted to see the Japanese dub beyond the first two episodes now is your chance! You better hurry though, these sort of clips are unlikely to be up for long!

The clips are as follows:
[HIDE]
Part 1: Scenes from Hunting (Thrill of the Hunt) and Promise of the Devil (Xaviax's Promise)
Part 2: Scenes from Hero of Gramercy (The Hero of Gramercy Heights) to Semper Fi
Part 3: Battle Scene from End of a Sibling (Strike's Ultimatum)
Part 4: Scenes from Black Temptation (Dark Temptation) and Family Portrait (Dropping the Axe)
Part 5: Various Scenes from Kamen Rider Wrath
[/HIDE]

Check them out!

Thanks for the Links. :D

The Albert/Spear vent scene was amazing and sad, Murai puts so much emotion into his voice and it sounds very real.

I want to see Murai in more things(Because I own just about everything else he's been in :D ), I want to see him in a main Rider role or Sentai. :loltongue:

I found one more set of clips, though it isn't that special. Apparently it's because Fish and Brandon are played by Usui Takeshi and Junji Majima respectively, though neither ring any bells for me.

It does however show off the Japanese version of the credits, which somehow makes it look that much more "official."

The clip is:
