FF8 Would You prefer a sequel or remake?

I desperately wanted a remake but I know that the fans of Final Fantasy 6 and 9 will be livid if they are not prioritized.

It's hard not to have a soft spot for the first Final Fantasy game you played! As for an VIII-2 or a remake, I can see the appeal of both options. A sequel could bring closure to some unanswered questions, but a remake would be a chance to experience the game in a new way

It's always a tough call when it comes to sequels or remakes, but I think Final Fantasy VIII deserves a shot at both. An VIII-2 could add even more depth to the game's already intricate storyline, while a remake would give us updated graphics and mechanics to enjoy.
