Would you or wouldn't you?

^ Okay, after getting a better look at the suit, I think you should get someone skilled to paint the belt. It was probably the angle of the last picture I saw of it, but from these pics, the belt sticks out like a sore thumb.

Sorry I just have no idea with the cosplay stuff XD. I am thinking about getting a sentai outfit, but I have no clue on where to look, and if it ever was a rider I would be Kickhopper. And it would be cool to be boukensilver with the working lights and stuff.

Do you know how to take it apart and put it back together again? If yes, paint it. I recommend using an airbrush.

i wish i could get a suit like this....

I believe the guy who made the Guyver suit had a webpage with tutorials, but I think it went offline or something. A pity, really...

I've thought about attempting a Gills suit, but I need to get a job first, and I still need to figure out how I'm gonna go about doing it...

As for painting the belt, I can't give you a straight answer. One part of me says "DON'T DO IT! YOU'LL RUIN IT!" and the other part says "just use the right kind of paint and it'll be fine!".

Howzit ALL,

Hey thanks for the input...I decided NOT to paint the belt. Instead, I "destroyed it".:shakefist It is not "fully destroyed"...yet, but will be seen later in my upcoming thread:
"KR1 Battle Worn: PT.2"...or is it "PT.3" already?

Thanks everyone! @ Darkwolf...just go for it man! I give ANYONE credit trying to build their own. Cr*p...Gills would definitely be a challenge, but would look awesome IMHO!:buttrock:

he was able to make a white belt using pieces from that one, and an old weight belt -- looks good too. Now his problem is that he can't find the right color for his gloves and boots.
