Would Cybertron/VR Troopers surpassed PR?

I would say its a big possability since Tommy had a huge effect on PR and from what I understood is that the ratings boomed once he showed up as the green ranger. If he "jumps ship" to VR trropers, u bet all those ppl who watched PR for him would follow him. So, yeah I believe it would have made VR trropers surpass PR which is not a bad thing considerining the fact that japan stopped producing metal hero shows thus forcing Saban to make its own all American toku shows. Thats just a wild thought though.

don't think so, too many kids would've see him as tommy not ryan steele, i remember seeing him in an episode of sweet valley twins or some **** after channel surfing and thinking "Hey it's tommy!"

Both shows would have ended. VR Troopers was just too stupid even for Jeebus to save.

I believe that if JDF jump ship and and became Ryan Steele and not Tommy Oliver, VR Troopers surpassing PR would have been a big possibility. But then again, it was good that JDF remained as Doctor O because VR Troopers would go down anyway and in the process bring JDF down as well. Besides, Tommy was one of my favourite during the PR craze that time for me and it would have been sad if he left...

Technically Saban could have still used ALOT more VR Troopers style Metal Heroes footage like Gavan, Sharivan, Juspion, and more of Shaider. So there could have atleast been 5-6 seasons worth of Cybertron/VR Troopers had it been a sucess.
