Same, they really pounded Brazil during the first half. My guess is just that in turn it ended up pounding their stamina. Down to two teams for me, really wished that they could have stayed though. There's always 2010.

Japan did put up a wonderful match. They accomplished something in this game that the other 2 teams in their group couldn't do: They scored a goal against Brasil and Dida.
