World Cup 2006

Yeah I know, if it was a racist remark, the one that said it should have gotten a yellow card at the least as well. Just a bad way for Zidane to end his career.

Don't remember Italy's guy's name...but he was frigging hugging him even when the ball was nowhere near play. Plus, you can see Zidane was about to shrug it off- he jogged ahead of the guy and then all of a sudden, turned and WHAM.

And no, soccer/football doesn't suck. FIFA maybe, but heck not the sport nor the WC.

Slightly offtopic...but how is Brazil still number one on FIFA's rankings? I find it amazing that after one loss, they didn't drop a spot, but South Korea went from 29 to 56. They're really going to have to work to earn it back, but South Korea can do it, and hopefully do much better than they did this year in 2010.

Really? Wow. It was a real shame that alot of people didn't get to see how wonderful a player Ronaldinho is. Last Saturday afternoon, I went to my local bar to get an early seat for the UFC PPV(A couple of close friends are bouncers and waitresses, so I'm not completely bored when I arrive 4 hours early). Anyway, I was watching a game on the TV, and it was Real Madrid vs. Barcelona. Ronaldinho had 2 goals that game, and the way he just moved around the defenders was wonderful. He's an amazing player, and now I wish I wasn't a big man so I could buy one of his jersey's...

Oh, no doubt that Ronaldinho is a good player, but during this cup, Brazil just didn't play like they wanted to win it.

xD;; Well, that isn't the only thing to completely strike me as odd about the new rankings. I'm horrifically confused as to how ENGLAND managed to rise five places to fifth best. After what is widely considered a World Cup campaign even more disappointing than four years ago... I'm baffled. xD;;;

Or how about Portugal losing one place while they reached the semi final for the first time ever. :rolleyes2:
They've been to the semifinals before. They've even gone as far as winning third place.
