Dude, we're talking about the US of A here! Besides the many kaijuu eiga (Godzilla, Gamera, etc.) and sci-fi/horror flicks (The Mysterians, Human Vapor, etc.), the original Ultraman series was one of the handful of Japanese superhero TV series to make it here. Ultraman, The Space Giants, Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot and Spectreman (and on a lesser degree, Dynaman) are the only Japanese hero programs the USA recognizes anymore. I could go on and on and on about this.
