Why has Anime/Manga turned to Pedophilia?

I dismiss the entire new age media of Anime/Manga because when I'm in best buy or some other store, this is what I see on the shelves. Nothing but blatant fan service cover art of suggestively young girls in fetish outfits.

You go by what you see at best buy as the "ENTIRETY" of anime?

I haven't seen much of Bund beyond the first episode...but aren't their actual ages like...hundreds and hundreds of years old?

What Saiko's talking about is the fact that on the cover of Vampire Bund, a teenage boy (roughly around a high school senior) is embracing what looks like a 10 year old girl in a suggestive way.

He's talking about implied pedophilia here. Of course, if you dive into the series, that's when you'll learn that the girl is actually hundereds of years old.

Yeah she's a vampire. The anime is still for ****.

Either way, it's not quite pedophillia if you're over 100+ then.

Vampire "romances" are always creepy. I mean Twilight is the story of girl wanting to get freaky with a person more than old enough to be her grandfather at the least. Personally I like to a somewhat Superflat perspective, in that a lot of Japanese pop culture is Western pop culture but filtered to a point it actually becomes rather Hyper-Western.

which I comment on in the post and why its still a bull **** way of saying 'its okay cause she's not really a child' and yet, it's still the body of a child.
