Why do men likes to play video game so much?

It's fun and quite entertaining. Men are also often busy with works and tension and stress built up in the office or at work will be released, so it generally relaxes the mind.

You are correct. I do that sometimes when I am less busy I play games on my mobile even in the office. This helps in relaxation waiting for the next client to come

I think the reason why most of the men are playing video games is because man's mind works more when they work silently using only the mind instead of the mouth. As a man I can say that my mind works faster when I played video games, because I can easily think and create best strategy when I am alone and when the place is silent and most of the men are silent type of person. Playing video games will improve our mind and skills. I can say that I am also a gamer and every time I play video games I feel free and I can do whatever I want without limits. The things that I can't do in the real world is I can easily do when I play video games.
Playing video games will bring you in a world that you can only feel and see when you play video games. Most of the men are very patient when playing video games specially if they are playing with there friends. Most of the girls I know don't like playing video games because they love using their mouth and talk or go shopping rather than sitting in a corner playing video games. Men are more into games because they have more free time to play.

I think another reason why men love to play video games a lot it's a great form of entertainment for each other as friends. Friends would always have something to keep them busy while they are at same time enjoying themselves. Playing video games together keeps friendship warm.

In fact, men play video games far more than women, and I really can't say why. Most likely it's the same reason why more men prefer sports too, it has to be something genetic, or games in particular are developed by man to man. Sure, like @tpicks is saying, it's all about friendship too.

It's not about men and women as I said earlier. People are going to be gamer if they like it. And that means something you can't do much for long time. And that leads to some of the time. I think if we continually play video games things are going to be lot better that way.

I would say that we were created that way, to play video games more and actually get agitated by it when we aren't doing well with the play. It's the same thing when it's asked why do girls or women love to gossip a lot? It's just in their nature to do so and the same reason goes to why men love playing video games.

If you can see , men love adventures , and games can provide the adventure we are looking for , it is also a way of stress relief for us.

This is well said, we love adventures because it intrigues us a lot and mostly it's throwing video games that we get this from. It's true we can have it as well from watching movies but when we are playing video games, it's as if we are physically involved with the adventure.

Let's not take anything away from some women who are very active gamers because there lots of them out there in the society. The funny part of women gamers is that should you come in contact with them, you would discover that they are actually better than many male gamers.

I think if you check on the twitch, you would find a lot of girls are streaming the games too. So it's not about any gender anymore. And that means how the video games are changing the way things are going around. I think lot of females are into games now.

This is the reason we even see duels being organized online where some male gamers clash to see who is the best. So, I believe that the joy of beating others that play the same game can be the reason most men want to play games.
