Why did Disney wants to take control of Super Sentai?

[Mr. Yellow]

I wish too, but Disney seems like 4KIDS, even if they don't care anymore, unless all the fans revolt and boycott (sorta like with One Piece) they will not care and have new seasons, but they still won't put it out with subs

Funny, I find a lot things Disney does to be "revolt" ing.

And even if we do they still won't care. :redface2:

Exactly Only reason 4KIDS cared was because anime is their base, and if ratings go lower and fans rebel and boycott, that's all they have. Power Rangers is not the only part of Disney's revenue. So if these reruns fail, they'll call it a day, but they still won't give subs Unless they get smart and realize there is no money in adapting, and give it to another company, or back to Toei. But again, that will only happen in a perfect world :/ And Disney will not go out of business because most of the stuff they do is targeted toward little kids, and they...well...eat them up :redface2:

Tell that to Bandai.

4 - LEARN JAPANESE!!! :anime:

Another thing, fansubs are not perfect. And since they're free you shouldn't really expect them to be perfect. A lot of fansubs groups like to do more than just translate the language (which is all we want them to do). They like to fill the screen up with unnessesary crap such as Karaoke during the opening intro, Translation notes, fancy fonts, etc...

Me? I wanna be able to speak Japanese anyway so oneday fansubs will mean nothing to me.

I want to do 4.) Learn Japanese. I don't trust fansubs 100% and some of my favorite series aren't fansubbed.

Wasn't it Sun Vulcan and Bioman that made Tony Oliver straight up imply that "Saban lost his friggin mind".

I think I heard Bioman was an early contender, but I'm not sure.

...wasn't almost the entire PR crew doubtful that MMPR would barely survive not even a full season?:sly:

Although, most of the cast of Star Wars thought the movie would never see the light of day either...

Ha! Never trust the silly shows and movies. The funny thing is that I watched both MMPR and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Hindsight is 20/20, foresight is legally blind.
