Why are HK Sentai mechs bad?

I got Abaranger Killer Oh in today. I bought him from cwk2002, who is in Hong Kong, so there's a decent chance it's the Chinese version, not the japanese

Everyone says HK versions have "less quality", but he seems just as sturdy as all my other sentai mechs!

Or is it as long as it's official Bandai product, it's still good quality, even if it is a chinese version?

I thought Andy bought the official ones...? The only "less quality" HKs I know of are the DVDs.

As long as it's Bandai, it'll usually be okay. The minor exceptions are when the HK versions are the same as the US Power Rangers versions, which tend to be not nearly as nice. The HK knockoffs are the ones you really have to watch out for.

I've seen that version he's selling. It'm 99.9% certain it's the official BoJ version. Otherwise he wouldn't charge that much for it.
