Why are girls always mean to each other?

There are many reasons why girls are sometimes mean to each other.
Physical Appearances
Dating
Flirting with other girls' boyfriend
Bossing others around
etc.
The way I see it is that most "Mean" girls either competitive or jealous of others because they didn't act like this person or that person or for the fact that they weren't be given a lot of things that money could never by.
I mean don't get me wrong, but I just think that if girls weren't making such a big deal about all of those reasons I mention and just act like a decent human being, then maybe there wouldn't be any problems for these girls.
