Why Americans don't want universal care? I just don't get it!

As a Republican I am against the Health care bill because they are going about it the wrong way I am for reform done right. Tort reform and Buying across State line would instantly make it more affordable. I do not like the government to stick there hand in another pot to screw up. Look at Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and the Post Office they are all money pits. Both parties are to blame for this crisis. All I can end with is KISS (keep it simple stupid).


Also we need Jobs first. I can barely afford Health care as it is. Making me buy it is not right.

This is actually a BIG lie the Right has been spreading. Especially the "Buying across state lines" garbage.

You see, the monthly rates may seem cheaper? But guess what happens when you need to cash in on it:

The hospitals, who don't even take all kinds of insurance from providers within their own states, take one look at your out-of-state insurance, say, "We don't take that here" and you still have to pay for everything yourself anyway.

What frustrates me is that all of these Conservatives are claiming that they would be fine with nationalized healthcare if "the bill was right," but it was their vetoing and negative interference to begin with that dumbed the bill down into something that they claim not to want. Even the Conservatives who really would be cool with public healthcare don't realize that it's not the Obama administration's fault for coming up with a lame-ass bill, it's their own party's fault for doing everything they can to stop it so that the people with the money and the power remain the people with the money and the power. Say what you will about Liberals and their inefficiency with budgets; fabricate whatever heinous rumors you want about the dreaded, evil entity that is the Federal Government (whose sole concern is, of course, ruining the lives of everyone in the country), but at least the left wingers are actually striving for equality and change in a nation thats stagnancy has become a source of contempt from the majority of the free world.
