Which Showa Kamen Rider had the best design?

There's little difference between what we consider "best" and "favorite" so I'd have to say Amazon as the best design. With the interesting camo pattern and very cool mask.

Shin is not a Showa-era Rider. He's a Man-Grasshopper, like the Man-Spider monster in Spider-Man.

And Amazon is a mutant fish/lizard hybrid. :laugh:

And besides most people like to mark the Ishinomori Era as the legitimate Showa Era. Riders that appeared after his death are the Heisei Riders.

Now that I think of it, Amazon does look a bit like a fish. But still, he looks more like a lizard in the end.

Amazon was good, I'll give you that :thumbs: , but I still find flaws in his overall look. It wasn't until the Heisei era that we got an organic rider that really reflected that look... that of course being Gills, my favorite Rider design in either era. Amazon's gloves didn't fit with the orga rider design so it came across as clumsy ... and the head didn't move
