Which Sentai had suitless rollcalls?

It seems they've been doing a lot of those lately, so I just wanted to know exactly which sentais had them. OFf the top of my head...

Shinkenger
DaiRanger
Hurricanger
Go Onger...sorta had one

Gaoranger and Hurricanger did 'em in their final episodes, too.

And Dairanger's the only time it made sense. They didn't have their powers, but wanted to show they were still Dairanger. All of the others henshin'd RIGHT AFTER DOING THEIR POSE! Stupid, Toei. Stupid.

I'm guessing this will be a tradition every year for the real actors to do their suit actors' roll calls during the finale.

I thought that's what that scene was saying. Epic stuff.

Dairanger and Boukenger's were awesome. didn't see the others.

guess if they are going to do this every year then it would cheapen the issue on the lack of powers.

Heh, it still makes me smile thinking about the Hurricangers using their jackets in place of their usual cloths for their roll call. :buttrock:

But yes, DaiRanger basically wins on the suitless rollcalls. I agree that having the situation be that they've temporarily lost their powers does make it a bit more dramatic while also just being more sensical. At the end of the day though, the point is the same.

In cases where power loss is not the issue it still comes at a point where they've lost a major battle or are about to face one. They also still do it towards the end so in a way it's symbolic of the characters being stronger as people for having had their experiences together. By this point in the show even the really pissy Ranger understands how awesome teamwork is. For them to do their poses and roll call minus their powers and costumes shows that this is where their true strength as heroes comes from.

It's the heart, not the henshin.

This is just one of those cool little things that toku does where it unabashedly celebrates the idea of the superhero and part of why I find it so engaging and entertaining.

I'm just going to jump in and say, as for future Sentai's we might keep seeing that. I honestly think it is now a cliche, it's not as cool or special as the 1st time I've seen it.

Either I've seen it too much, or it's because they don't have good enough reasons to do it.
