Considering you misspelled ist and capitalized name... you really might want to brush up on your German. Shouldn't that be just, "Vielen dank!" if you meant "thanks alot"? One thing is for sure, I certainly don't miss my German (or Spanish) classes.
Well, you were right on the part where I mispellt ist, I think that was just a slight typo (I forgot the "T").
Yeah, if I could remember correctly my dad once said German has a slightly different system to English, which would use capital letters differently, there are "Namenworter", "Wieworter", "Tuworter", etc.. (sorry I didn't put the umlauted "O" in, my keyboard is British and just right now I'm too tired to use that program with different characters..
), and some of them would have a reason for starting with a capital letter..
For example, in a German sentence, some words would like have a capital letter in the middle of a sentence, because these words are like names of objects (Namenworter), things you are doing (Tuworter), and what things are like (Wieworter).
In a basic English sentense it would look sorta like this (unless it mentions people's names)..
"I have to go to work tomorrow"
and in German it would look like this..
"I Have to Go to Work Tomorrow"
"Ich Muss Morgen nach Arbeit zu Gehen"
Ich/I = Namenwort
Muss/Have to = Wiewort (I think)
Morgen/Tomorrow = Not sure if that's a Namenwort or a Wiewort..
Arbeit/Work = Namenwort (but Arbeiten is a Wiewort)
Gehen/Go = Tuwort
..and sometimes I keep forgetting to use this system.. :disappoin
But hey!! I guess I'm better at speaking German than I am at writing it!! :anime:
