What's so good about HEROES?

Forever Knight

Eye See You
So I'm check out Season 1 soon. I know nothing about this series except that one of my buddy's said it was good and involved... Heroes.

So is the show still on or did it get nailed to the cross after season 1?.

Prison Break is still #1 for me. So this Heroes **** is lucky I'm gonna toss it a shot. All I know of it is Rocky's "son" is in it and some Japanese kid name Hiro is in it. That Disney broad, Hayden whatever I also recall hearing about.

Consider me a virgin on prom night when it comes to this show. So please use protection.

The show is written by hard corec omic geeks and produced by Joeph Loeb one of Batmans better writers so it has a comic book feel. there's also a Lot of comic book references that make comic book geeks feel right at home....but as the series progresses you end up yelling at the screen a lot and recognizing a lot of the comics thier "Inspired" from....if not fully ripping off.

The problem is that since not a lot of people read comics to the level that say me and Derek do you don't notice it much, so it's always used as this example of original TV even though it really isn't. and it's always held up as some example for why the writers are getting shafter cause people think it's the only original show out there.

Basiclly it was running on it's own Hype in Season 1 and in 2 people started to wise up. It IS a great show, but not as great as some would have you think.

Get season 1 set, popcorn, make popcorn, sit down, watch it and ENJOY!

Seriously, season 1 was brilliant. The storyline were so strong.

'nuff said.

Heroes attracted the right writers, but the writers began treating it like an actual comic, instead of the sensetive commentaries on power, destiny, journeys, and relationships. Now it's just "we superheroes, we must time travel and kung-fu fight"
