That Enterprise is made more for war... I'd need a ship I could cruise in on vacation.

That's why I chose Enterprise D. It's swass as a ride that has luxury but it can also fight when the need arises.

Yea, that's right, Titan Maximum. I wouldn't mind cruising around in a ship for a while, and when **** gets real, form Titan Maximum!

Yeah, but I feel like that'd be TOO big. Either I'd need several hundred to keep things going or feel like I'm living in a giant city with too few people.

Agreed. The Defiant was just as much of a warship, if not more, than the NX Enterprise was. The Voyager would have been a better choice for "balance" of combat abilities and "comfort" as far as mid-size starships go (though it wouldn't be my personal choice).
