Terrible Toku Talents; who's work do you absolutly hate?

Point understood. Although I can see an absurd design usually will results in a useless or annoying end product. GoBuster Ace is a good design and thus it was shown in the show that it is quite agile, a rare trend since GekiTohja. However mixing it into GoBusterOh/King shows that it was a design failure since the suit actor can't move at normal speed.

And I think most of us has read the discussion regarding Pine Arms, so I will not elaborate.

What was up with Faiz's ending? I still can't get over it to this day. What made Inoue decide that was the best ending possible? In my eyes, it was a cliffhanger ending before Decade decided to have a cliffhanger ending. Maybe Narutaki's "Damn you Decade" line was a metaphor for "Damn you Inoue!"

What was such a cliffhanger about Faiz's ending? I admit it's probably been a couple of years now since I saw it, but I don't recall it feeling like a cliffhanger at all. Not like the Ryuki movie or Decade. Now they were the "they're going to end it THERE?!" endings

Orphenoch King isn't dead... Saeko/Lobster Orphenoch is going to make sure he revives... that about covers it I think.

Hibiki's ending was much worse though.

Yeah, the Orphenoch King isn't dead. How do you end a show when the villain isn't dead yet? They can still wreck havoc and fans still make fanfiction stories about it. Hibiki's ending was pretty bad too.

After writing my last post I decided to rewatch that episode. Yeah, obvious symbolism is obvious. The Orphenoch King is a representation of someone very powerful who has been totally corrupted by that power, and because power inevitably corrupts it is inevitable that another person with lots of power will some day become similarly corrupted. The Orphenoch King will always rise again. I did wonder if I was just reading far too much into my weekly Bandai infomercials, but it's pretty much spelled out in the dialogue in the playground near the end so I don't think it's unintentional. IIRC Faiz had a lot of stuff like this in it; it's just a shame Inoue has all the subtlety of a brick through a window. I don't see how it's any kind of serious attempt to continue the show though.

Edit: why the hell am I defending this show? I don't even like Faiz!

I've watched many Ultraman series and 2 super sentais, and there is only one series I hated. It's Ultraman Max. The story basically goes "it's the 21st century and monsters are popping out of nowhere, and there is this defense squad and every episode a monster appears and Ultraman Max kills it". That's pretty much it's storyline, there is no story at all.

You see, the symbolism and stuff like that is why I actually liked Faiz. Inoue had some great ideas and I think most of them were executed really well. I had a few problems with the ending, but mostly in the episodes leading up to it and how rushed they were. The final episode left me a bit disappointed with the final battle, but the episode as a whole didn't leave me as infuriated as, say, the endings of Hibiki or Decade.

Honestly, as someone who actually enjoyed Faiz, I would've had a better opinion of the ending had Takumi vs. Kiba, and the Riders vs. The Orphenoch King, had been much better and not as rushed.
