What if JAKQ was never cancelled?

I wonder, what if JAKQ was never cancelled? Would it have ran for about at least 80-episodes? Would there even be a Big One?

Here is my guess. We would of gotten 80-episodes. By around the 40th episode, Sky Ace (aswell as the Jack Tank and their four individual vehicles) would have been destroyed. The next episode, they'd get a new flying fotress, aswell as new individual vehicles and possibly another team one. In that exact episode, the main four come to realize their powers don't work on the monster-of-the-week. So they get new-JAKQ suits where their individual weapons are replaced with new ones. As for Big One, he'd probably get a new-JAKQ suit aswell that replaces his Big Baton with something like the New Big Baton. Oh and the team cannon get replaced by a new one.

This is based on what Goranger did. Seeing as how both Goranger and JAKQ follow a similar pattern that distinguishes themselves from the Sentai series after it.

Big One seems to be the most important thing anyone remembers about JAKQ - he's like its version of Gai Yuuki, everyone LOVES this character and couldn't care less about the others. Without him, what would it be known for? Would it have been better able to establish itself over the extra episodes?

If JAKQ was never cancelled, or even in danger of cancellation, Big One never would have come into the picture.

If it was never cancelled, but Big One was still in there, we'd probably not have Spiderman and thus, Battle Fever J, assuming the show wasn't cancelled and it went for more years. Unless the plan was to go to Marvel anyways, then we might have a different Super Sentai series than the one we grew to love.

Let's say that they didn't follow the patten and did it differently. Then that means Sentai could have still went the same route as today. Perhaps they'd take the deal and do Spider-Man alongside a sentai, but then phase the latter out for the best of both worlds, Battle Fever.

It probably would have kept its initial tone if it was never in any danger of being cancelled. The show played itself a lot more gritty than Goranger and I think that's what it would have been remembered for.

If JAKQ made it past 35, would it have still lasted around 80 like Goranger, or would it instead be around 50 like all the Sentai after it? The original Kamen Rider lasted 98 episodes, but Kamen Rider V3 lasted 52.

Yeah, Goranger lasted at least 84 episodes long.

J.A.K.Q. probably would've been like, between 48 to 50 episodes long, at the very least.

I agree. J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai would've had a 50-episode run if it didn't get a cancellation. I mean, there would be more progress in developing the characters and more villains.

except the Big One people love is very different from obnoxious JAKQs Big One. lol

I was just thinking about that. Goranger lasted over 80-episodes because it was the first series. If JAKQ lasted for around 50-episodes, we most likely won't get to see the Sky Ace get destroyed. We wouldn't get to see a new mecha (aswell as new vehicles, new weapons, etc).

Goranger had their five main weapons, their main finisher, their vehicles (aswell as added new ones), and their main mecha replaced because Goranger was so long. They must do something fresh.
