Westboro Baptist Church going to Comic Con

They'll probably be across the street from the building with signs failing to realize that everyone that really cares will be inside of the building.

They'll pack their **** and leave once they realize that once again that what they're doing isn't really doing ****, and then go on to protest some dead soldiers funerals.

It's going to be hilarious to read the follow-up news piece about the Westboro Baptist Church getting boo'd out of Comic Con after five minutes of one of their interchangable sermons.

ah fred phelps and his church consisting of family and friends, hopefully they get heatstroke out there in the santa diego sun. then we know that there is a higher power at work

Our shields could be at 50% and holding...and we'd still be able to take'em.
Wish I could go, someday San Diego...someday. :shakefist

Well thankfully I stopped praying to Spiderman long enough to read this post and respond

Now, while I try my best to respect people's belief's and especially be happy that they try and have morals in this day and age...these people are just stupid  I mean, no one is truly worshiping these super heroes as idols (well...some may, but the majority is not :loltongue:). These people need to learn that some people can balance God and fun and some people just don't want God at all. I am okay with people's belief's but NOT when they are either shoving it down other people's throats, or proclaim death and damnation upon them for choosing to not believe in what they believe. Hopefully when we all die in some type of Apocalypse, this all will be settled

And besides, how do they have an authority to tell others what and how to believe ? Besides, if they really want more people to follow them why won't they learn to stop being dicks and not be on their high horses.

That's the problem with religions sprouting from Traditional Judaism. They all are against freedom of religion ,speech ,any freedom for women and are almost always against progress. It seems that the more Eastern you go ,the more liberal a religion becomes and vice versa.

Judaiam and Christianity offer most to nothing in the case for growth spiritual wise. Even some of those Protestant groups are psychotic and lets' not even start with Mormonism. Judaism is basically about some whiny ass bitches going through the desert warring with people to get their land until they get their asses handed to them twice. I'm actually disgusted America helped found that abomination of a country as it led to 9/11. You'd think people would learn from the last 20 times that an Israelite State is a waste and will always fall. For Islam But I have to hand it to them for preserving the knowledge of the Ancient World during their golden age 'till they fell when the Mongols wiped that out.

Now going to Christianity. If i ever do go back to it, I'm going to it's unorthodox roots and try to see if there is a manuscript close to the original meaning. I did hear of the Q book, but that's speculation. But feeling as I'll never find that ,there's no point to worship a religion that's built on false books. Granted they do have the Old Testament, but you'd have to get it from another more reliable source. All in all, this religion in it's current state fuels hatred and bigotry and will always unless it is nipped at it's bud.

And people wonder why I am agnostic.

Oh God, I can only imagine what a church is going to do at a comicbook convention:redface2:

You have been worshiping Stan Lee for too long, I smite thee Marvel Comics in the name of the Lord!:nono:

Don't you just hate the Christians that are all :sparta!: about their religion? Sometimes, they make me sick to be named after them...

Still, though, those cases are, thankfully, rare.

As far as I'm concerned, only people who don't believe in themselves are capable of believing in God on their own. It's because they need something to believe in.

JUST BECAUSE YOU DO DOESN'T MEAN EVERYONE DOES!!!!!!

Exactly. Let everyone believe what they want to believe, but stand your ground when they try to force you to believe in their ****.
