watched the whole the series without subs?

use to watch them all the time when I was in Thailand, but ever since we came to the USA in 1994 haven't watch it that much.

I watch alot of old toku raw because its generally easy to follow the plot. If I don't understand a certain aspect or plot line, I consulate the mighty world wide web. Plus my Japanese is improving exponentially.

I've only watched about two whole series with subs, and it was because you can't turn them off on VHS or they were Agito. :laugh:

All 98 episodes of kamen rider in 1 sitting.

Dude...you are balls. :O_O: I had a hard time watching all 10 Star Trek movies in two days. Respect man.

As for the thread subject, I've only saw all of Gekiranger unsubbed (well, not 48 and 49 yet, obviously :sweat:) and that's because there's no time for those episodes to be subbed (I watch them the Sunday or Monday after they aired on Japanese TV). Most other Toku I watch has been subbed, so I can't do much about it. I prefer unsubbed anyway.

The majority of stuff, I've watched subbed, simply cuz it was easier to find the subbed version rather than the raw versions. But for stuff I watched off the HK sub dvds, I didn't bother reading the subs because most of them were that off. I've watched the majority of Boukengers, Gekirangers, and Den-o raw, and the entire Jetman raw, mainly cuz I can't wait for someone else to sub it. But its not like I don't understand what they're saying, so I dunno if that really counts ^^;;;

I just have trouble when they start explaining something technical, like how one of their powers works. But for the most part I just play a part over if I'm not sure what they said.

That's why I prefer raw. I just don't trust subs that much. The only ones I trust are TV-Nihon. However, I'm not going to wait for something to be subbed before I enjoy it.
