VG dubs KR Blade!

As I think I mentioned before, my final project for Audio Production was to dub over a clip of an episode of Kamen Rider Blade. It's done, so here it is!

It features me as the voice of Chalice. Note: I started out without ANY sound. Every thing in here I added in.

As a person currently in Audio Editing...I give it a "D."

Just watching that reminded me about the fansubs done to Zyuranger, Hurricanger, and Jetman (...especially Jetman...*shudders*)

...and your VO...sounded as dead as the morph calls in PRNS (minus Dustin) and PRDT (minus Trent & Dr. O)...

...put some more "Umph!!!" into your voice and you might have the potential to VO an anime character or a MotW on PR...

I've got those. You didn't hear the sounds in the movie?

So what exactly didn't you like besides the crappy VO, which isn't going to change 'cause it's the best I can do?

I'll see about reposting the sucker.

P.S. Dude, I'm used to this stuff being an online filmmaker, but if you want to actually give someone constructive criticism, starting out with both an elitist comment "As someone currently in audio recording" and an asshole comment "I'll give it a D" in the same sentence is a bad idea.

Man, that's suppose to motivate you to redo an even better one...I've seen one too many fansub material (anime and toku alike)...some were awesome, some stayed with the original material, and there were some where...well you get the picture.

Making MegaSilver sound like Michael Jackson in Megaranger

"Silly Asians Keep Your SARS to Yourself"...the Jetman fandub would've been great...then they used that stupid line...and killed the entire bit.

I will give you credit for the Foley...you turned Kamen Rider Blade into the Hong Kong Kung Fu version of the Guyver with the hitting effects.

...one more thing...

More Foley on the Plant Undead reeling in pain after the numerous strikes by Chalice.

Yeah, if I actually had decent foley equipment there'd be footsteps and tree rustles. I don't, unfortunately.

If you're any kind of "online filmmaker," you'd be more than used to getting comments like this, trust me. He was just being honest with you. Why beat around the bush? Would you rather be lied to and continue doing things poorly?
