US Shipping Restrictions

I've bought a brand new DX Delta Belt for Aoiblue that's opt for a trade. And went to FedEx & DHL for shipping estimation. The problem is, Delta belt have a trigger/gun-like appearance. They said toy guns are restricted in US.

I'm wondering how you guys ships this kind of stuff, esp. carbonblue who sold his Horo Sniper (w/c is eventually more gunlike than delta belt) to Jedibmoney.

Cause the guy there in FedEx & DHL said that they're restricted.

Why did you not have the toy boxed up so it couldn't be seen? That way the shipping company would have no way of knowing what the hell you were shipping.

^So this is what I have tol do: Boxed the toy and fill it with packaging tape. Am I right?
What will I do if they ask me what is it and they tried to open it?

See, I wasn't aware it wasn't boxed up.

I doubt they'll attempt to open it.

When I ship packages they usually just ask a few simple questions, such as "What are you shipping?", and "Do you have anything hazardous in the package?"

i ship using japans EMS, you can ship almost anything
a little expensive,but toys are ok
