My friend Wes admits that Buffy's dialogue is a bit cheesy.

And he owns Buffy Seasons 1-5 on DVD as well as Angel seasons 1-4 on DVD.

You're right! I did! I guess nobody caught it except us though. :laugh:

And if by "breakthrough," Skynight, you meant "entirely too cliche," then I agree. The movie might've been somewhat "breakthrough" but the show was like a bad joke than ran way too long.

Guess Skynight's been on the Internet too long to allow others to carry an opinion. (Unless its not similar/identical to his.)

The Buffy movie...I remember that. It was sort of decent. The show...was not. Angel, being a spin-off, also was not. I watched a few episodes of both.

Personally, I'd rather watch Big Wolf on Campus.

There both stunning while NBC series have no multicultural aspects whatsoever.

Uhm, have you even seen an episode of Law & Order?

Two out of the six leads are African-American actors. Jesse L. Martin and S. Epatha Merkerson are a couple of the best actors on the series in a while, and S. Epatha Merkerson just won an award (I think a golden globe, or something like that) for her work in Lackawanna Blues.

Not to mention Ice-T is on SVU, and Courtney B. Vance is on CI.

You might say "token black person," I say that they are good actors who do very well in their roles.

Also, Donald Faison is one of the funniest actors on Scrubs.

All the actors on Scrubs are funny, but you have a point. As for Ice-T...sellouts don't count.

As for the actors on Law and Order....I liked the guy who came before Jesse Martin more. Det. Green is very close to the "angry black man" stereotype. And that makes me angry. :laugh: j/k The lady actor you mentioned however, is rather decent.

I don't know about delicious (being male and, you know...straight), but he was a damned good actor with an actual LIFE outside of being a cop when he was on the show. Made his character much deeper than Green. Of course...what's either of them without Jerry? :bawling:
