If I understand you correctly, are you saying that Zero in Ultimate Aegis form can travel between universes freely; and that Nexus in his Noa (Aegis) form can do the same?

Considering the definition of "aegis", and the way it seems to have been portrayed so far, I would say that we're definitely seeing some religious themes being used in the latter Heisei Ultraman shows and movies. It'll be interesting to see if this applies to this new gaiden and the new Saga movie as well.
