More than likely, Tsuburaya doesn't feel that having the entire Space Pendragon crew is ... necessary, anymore.
But, as far as I'm concerned, we don't have all five members of the Pendragon's crew, we have none of them. Just Boss and Rei.

Forty percent is NOT One Hundred Percent! Boss and Rei are going without their most precious assets.
How many times did Haruna's piloting save their lives?
How many time did Kumano keep the Space Pendragon together? Often with little more than spit, glue, duct tape, cleverness - and canibalized parts?
How many times was Oki's knowledge about monsters aid Rei in saving their bacon?
These people survived a hellish planet - by sticking together. They survived crazy monster wars and cataclysms - by staying together. When Rei and Boss were temporarily separated from the others, Haruna and the gang searched for them, even working with an intersellar assassin, for pete's sake! When Rei was shanghaied by a legendary Ultraman, leaving the Pendragon vulnerable to a super-monster attack, they begged the mysterious, *deadly* stranger who'd saved them from a dangerous alien assassin to help them. One doesn't break up a great team like that!
So, you can't call Rei & Boss ZAP Spacy, you can only say they're Rei & Boss. So, Tsuburaya had best come up with a credible explanation of why they're not together any more. Perhaps the others are running a second ship?

All this and the Pendragon crew will likely never get their own full length series. (but hey, at this rate, at least Boss and Rei might be in enough random side stories to account for that!)

It's a real shame not to have the full Pendragon crew, but no doubt it comes down to the shoestring budget.......bet the epic battles will all be on the same 12 x 12 feet of planet too.
Have to make do with the meagre resources available for the moment.......
