Now I am happy.

[FlameDragon]

i want a new original ultraman more

But Ultra Q is so awesoooommmmme! D8

[Shynilyte]

Honestly, this sounds pretty exciting. It's not a new Ultraman, but it's still a proper TV show.

So, will this be like that Ultraman manga, which was a sequel to Ultraman (Hayata), but ignored every series that came afterwards?

[Aruphonse]

Wasn't the original Ultra Q going to be released on Blu-Ray remastered and recolored? I find that it's time somebody gets to work and finally have a good fansub of it.

In any case, I hope this new series will be good. It doesn't have to be too fancy, just put some good writers and stories like in the original Ultra Q.

Has been stated any sort of connection between the Ultraman series and Ultra Q in any occasion?

It's been released. It's nearly $600 for both boxes together though. I might try and snag one of them later this summer depending on how much I make at GFest and if my friend can find a used set for cheaper.

Ultraman was a direct sequel to Ultra Q, more or less. Ragon and the Kemur Being, both Ultra Q monsters, show up again in Ultraman. I would assume this holds true for the all-encompassing Showaverse that Return of Ultraman set up in 1971, meaning Ultra Q's lineage goes all the way through Ultraman Saga.

HOLY ****!

I've always thought that the prices of DVDs and Blu-Rays in Japan were exaggerated but this takes the cake!! :O_O:

[Shynilyte]

I imagine coloring and remastering an old live-action series into HD would be really costly.

[Burkion]

Sounds good to me. And hell, Phoenix is going sea lion on us, means we should hear less Dyna rants to come.

I do wonder if they're going to ste-acquire a Godzilla outfit and cover it in fur and fangs and **** again though.

They already have the Ultra Galaxy/Saga Gomess suit.
