[hide]Decent idea to kill Hank off, given there's no progression foeward if he does'nt have the hot streak that leads to his beating Janet up, Stark's use of the War Machine armour was a nice little nod to the character. The Hulk's escape was handled well. I did'nt like the use of the aliens from the first movie, but they were a recurring threat in the comics anyway so I may as well get used to them. Black Panther is a little grating but otherwise a decent interpretation.

A little bland, but a distinct improvment in story and quality than the overrated first movie, and it clearly leads into a third. I just hope Marvel see sense and make this a series, there really holding back this franchises' potential by going with this format[/hide]

Yeah, the first movie is immesnly overrated, nothing of worth in it at all, and a plot that just ripped straight into JLA's pilot. It should have just been about capturing The Hulk and staying partially true to the original comics, not try and create a PG freaking Ultimates adaptation. The animation is also pants, worse than Evolution's first season, it does'nt flow well at all.

I'd much rather see a mainstream Avengers movie, preferably based on the Kurt Busiek/George Perez era. Just as long as it's not like the Fox Kids version from a few years back.*shudders*

You're not... I liked the 1st one too. I already picked this up from my boy at work. It's a bootleg copy but a perfect rip of the DVD original. I'll be checking it out today. :anime:

I liked it as well. It wasn't something that was earth-shakingly incredible, but I thought it was pretty good. I downloaded the second one last night, and I'll watch it in a few hours. :buttrock:
