Ugh....High School

Well, I graduated from high school last year. Honestly, I enjoyed my Senior year for the most part. I was defitely more open (which was a bit strange considering I was still a bit new to the school. I moved from San Jose, CA to Tracy, CA - spent 9-not even half of 11 grade at my old high school - but I think I felt comfortable because I found an old buddy who I went to school with in San Jose). Like that really matters...

Any who, I was pretty laid back, chill, and kind of lazy during my first couple of years. Then reality sorta kicked in, and I realized it was time to buckle down (even though I still was lazy). I was never bullied, I was extremely picky with who I hung out with (I was the peacemaker of the group, kept my friend out of trouble for the most part, etc etc). I've always been the "big guy" so to say, so no one really wanted to mess with me anyway.

That was really the story of my high school career. Nothing special, nothing exciting...it was just...school.

I just wish I could be open about Toku and stuff.......that could make things better.
Is there an anime club at your school? You'll be surprised how many people who are into anime, actually know and have watched some form of Toku before. If not, being a fan of Toku is nothing to be ashamed of. If they honestly sat down watched some of, they actually might like it.

Lol it be easier for you to audition for Gosei Black that's for sure.

Seriously man, it would be smarter if Saban sent his casting director to NY to hold auditions, because NY is one of the biggest acting capitals..next to LA.

Because I know Nickelodeon goes to my acting school every now and then to look for talent.

Interesting, still alot of time before a Goseiger adaption will be in the works.

You would be surprised. They're a lot more casual than you might think. Personally, I've yet to join my college's anime club...and all I watch is anime and toku.

High schoolers--its tough for everyone--popular kids included. Either its school problems or problems with classmates...or girl/boy problems. You should look for people who remember what you're going through, like in this thread.

Camaraderie? Friendship? It cannot be understated. Trust me. If you aren't comfortable with your friends' insults, you need new friends. Surround yourself with people you REALLY enjoy being with instead of people pleasant to be around.

Last bit of advice for high schoolers? I spent two and a half years dealing with my first and second girlfriends because the first was crazy; the second bipolar. Don't let some girl/guy drag you down. Stay focused, 'cause college is awesome.

(Also. Kivat, what's with you and dating an asian girl?)

My high school life was laid back. During lunch, we had this usual spot we called "The Tree" and everyday we would talk, take a snooze, do a little wrestling, watch couples making out near our spot, and I think this one time, we were all watching some porn on a friend's PSP. It was me, 7 other guys, and a chick watching lesbians making out and doing....things:laugh:
