I really do hope both games have different sides of the story. That would give people better reasons to buy both. Also I realized there going to play differently I just don't like when companies come up with "clever" ways to make us buy stuff and if they only decided to make one game from the start, without ever mentioning the two different engines idea, would anyone really be asking themselves "Wow this plays just like SF4 but I wonder what it would of played like if it had a different engine?"

Worked for Capcom vs SNK 1 & 2 and SVC Chaos. Different games, different art, different characters, different playstyles. And SNK and Capcom weren't even that far away from each other as Capcom and Namco.

I guess you missed that era.

Again what? Story? why would you buy this for the story? Tekken and vs Capcom games play completely different from each other. I don't think you even understand the fact that it is a different game entirely. I don't even think you understand the basic concept of fighting games.
And yes I would be asking myself how this would play this way.
Lets put this in perspective if you don't understand this is Tekken:

This is a Vs Capcom title:

Do you see the huge difference now?
