This was meant to be a mock thread with those funny pictures not to actually talk about the movie. I saw a bit of it and didn't like, I thought it was cheese and garbage so I didn't continue watching it. When I cannot continue watching something because I don't like it that gives me the right to criticize it because if I liked it I would have watched the entire thing.

Now gimme some Buffy, Angel, Forever Knight, and even Vampire Diaries over this.

Clearly you both are fans of it so you can atleast appreciate some of the humour in the photos and if not then toooo bad.

You pretty much said it right there with out directly saying it.

@DigDoug: It is a problem especially when you go out of your way to make fun of something you don't like. I'd rather you not like it and keep it to yourself (except if it's a review cause you'll be constructive then) than constantly hear you don't like something over and over when we heard you the first time. I understand you don't like it, but you don't have to make a thread to bring more to your point. Then it becomes this those who hate something so much being disliked for the hatred they spew constantly.

There are no Vampires in those books or movies.

I'll tell you the same thing I told FK there are different interpretations of vampires. In one of my favorite manga Jo Jo's bizarre adventure vampires are created through an old stone Aztec mask and while those vampires burn in the sun traditionally they don't suck blood at all.

Just one more chime: essentially all this hate is reminding me of the Den-O hate and all the threads it had created: It got too annoying and repetitive in the same fashion as Twilight hate.

Don't get me wrong, I dislike the series as well. I had to strain to get through any of the books (made a good timewaster for cardio though) and at least gave a clearer understanding of the book's purpose and why to dislike it (Its more Bella than Edward). I just got tired of all this hate and wanted a more comprehensive reason as to why this series sucks. At the very least I'm not screaming my hate on it.

That ain't stopping this thread, and the Peter Cullen joke gave a little chuckle.

That's really nice and all. I still say there are no vampires of any kind in Twilight. Glittering.. HAH... :laugh:

Pretty much every fictional vampire (even going back to pre-Dracula literature) is so far removed from the original vampire legends that they're vampires in name only. You can pretty much make anything and an audience will buy it as a vampire if it somehow lives off of other people's blood and/or life force.

I know a lot of you guys don't like twilight but why got through the trouble to hate on it? I mean if people started hating on toku the way you do twilight I bet large majority of you guys would be pissed.

Nobody's rubbing tokusatsu in everybody's face, everywhere they turn. This is all just venting and the frustration of just Twilight being everywhere. You turn on the television, there's the blank, expressionless Kristen Stewart. You turn to a magazine stand, there's Robert Pattinson making that same constipated look. Every other commercial's the crappy CGI dogs jumping around...

Blah. I unfortunately sat through the first movie. A friend of mine had a free rental, and made the mistake of thinking "Hey, won't this be good for a laugh?" The joke was on me. The whole movie played like a string of bad deleted scenes. You know what was more insulting than glowing in sunlight, the awful acting, the inept direction, the silly script? Vampires playing baseball.
