TV Shows that Jumped the Shark

If you're not familiar with the last 3 words, "Jump the Shark" is an American term when a tv series starts to lose popularity. It gets its name from "Happy Days" when the Fonz jumped over a water ramp shaped like a shark in a pool.

So, are there any of your favorite TV shows that had a moment when they "jumped the shark?"

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Bye-bye, Jaxdia. Sorry, Ezri, but even your spunky young looks couldn't help this series.

Dax's character is the perfect one to survive an actress leaving, and the show didnt jump at all, in fact, the drama continued to be as strong. You're just saying it jumped because a long-term actress left, not because the quality or realism (by Star Trek standards) lowered, which is PRECISLY what "Jump The Shark" means.

Sliders- Despite the critcicism, the fourth and fifth seasons arent as bad as there made out to be, but the third season was nothing but movie rip-offs, throw in John Rhys-Davis's undignified nonsensical death (now THAT is when you associate a major character and actor leaving with the show's quality ending), and you have the ideal excuse for FOX to cancel the series and let it be handled by better people.

"Jumping the Sharks with Fayt Leingod" totally sucked after jumping the whale sharks in the third season. The next five seasons were such a drag! Especially the wasted time trying to hunt for a Greenland Shark to jump over during the ENTIRE seventh season!

What was up with that man?!

Married with Children didn't jump when he joined. Well, it may have... but that wasn't until at least four or five years later.
