"Brawn" is one of many iconic names in Transformers history; the character was originally a member of the starting cast in 1984 who became known for supreme physical strength despite his reduced stature.
Until he died. Well, kinda.
The name/character was one of many classics chosen for reinvention in the modern Movie franchise, and is now among the most recent wave of released figures.
Brawn's Vehicle Mode is a military transport truck; some have called it a "Humvee" but it really doesn't match that design too well. Either way, its an appropriate vehicle for this character.
Brawn's transformation is a style classified by fans as "Shell-former" because the Vehicle parts basically just unfold to reveal the Robot inside.
In Robot Mode Brawn looks like a classic military soldier; decked out in armor and weapons to take on Decepticons. The instructions don't show it, but you CAN stow his hand-held pistols in Robot Mode:
Leaving Brawn's hands free for combat. IN addition, the turret weapon in Vehicle Mode can fold over Brawn's head in Robot Mode to use as an additional armament.
Brawn's articulation is somewhat hindered by the pieces of vehicle-mode "kibble" around certain points (specifically the arms & shoulders). But all major joints-shoulders, wrists, arms, legs, knees, waist, head- have solid movement for the most part.
Brawn is a great militant Autobot; he looks right at home beside other Movie Transformers like Ironhide or Landmine. Great design+good fun= Strongly Recommended!
