((I know I said I had given up on the roleplay section here, but I felt like making this))
On the day of July 3rd, 2007 a mysterious wormhole connected to a distant world opened up above earth's atmosphere bringing a large ship of unknown origins through. The ship itself was obviously damaged and looked as if it had just come from a massive battle. The ship then fell into the atmosphere and before being torn apart on reentry a series of smaller escape ships were launched and landed around various parts of the world. The passengers of these escape ships were a race of mechanical beings known as the Transformers, and each belonged to one of two factions, the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons. As they had always done when coming to a new planet they scanned the vehicles of this world in order to keep their presence hidden while continuing their ongoing war from the eyes of humanity.
The crash has brought about a detrimental effect to both sides of a conflict though. In the crash many of the weaponry and powersources were destroyed, severly limiting the capabilities of both sides. The decepticons had one ace up their sleeves though, an ancient technology that can be used to to turn other beings into smaller transformers known as Linkmasters, which posess the ability to link up with normal sized transformers and give them a boost in power or become some sort of weapon. Immdiatly Megatron began ordering that humans be abducted and forced humans to undergo the Linkmaster process in order to use these new "tools" against the Autobots and gain an easy victory. The leader of the crashed Autobot forces known as Nitro Prime saw the need to add the Linkmasters to their side as well, and thus began scouting out humans that would willingly help them in their cause. With a special device called the "transector" developed by the Autobots the recruited humans can transfer their conciousness into a Linkmaster body and then back to their human body when needed giving the Autobot Linkmasters quite a bit more freedom from the Decepticon Linkmasters, which are trapped in Linkmaster bodies.
Now the battle rages on, each side knowing that their only hope is the Linkmasters and that they wont let the other side aquire more without putting up one hell of a fight.
Rules:
1. No godmoding or powerplaying, occasionally this can be allowed with villains, but you must get my permission first.
2. Dont join if you arent going to post regularly
4. This rpg has no connection to any existing Transformers series which means your characters cant be related to any existing series
6. Fan made transformers will be allowed as long as you provide a pic or an extremely good description of them.
7. No giant Transformers, just being them is almost powerplaying
8. Everyone will play a Transformer and their Linkmaster partner, in this rpg Transformers without Linkmaster's are severly weaker than the ones with Linkmasters
9. Be familiar with transformers if you plan on joining.
10. Have fun and enjoy the rp, and if you have any ideas that you wish to share, go ahead and tell me over PM

Personality: Reckless, hasty, stubborn with a constant need to go fast, much like his partner Nitro Prime. He tends to rush into situations headfirst without too much thinking, believing that waiting too long to make plans tends to make things worse. His motto is "If your not first, your last!"
History: As a pit crew worker at a local raceway Shinn spent much of his time around around racing vehicles, and needless to say since it was his job to fix them up as quickly as possible, he knew how they were inside and out down to th smallest component which of course made him an excellent mechanic. But often when no one else was around Shinn did the one thing with those race cars that he normally couldnt do: actually drive them. The way he drove thm was much like the way he repaired them, fast and effcient, though no one ever got to see this since no one was ever around when he decided to take one of the cars out for a test drive.
On one of the occasions where he was goofing off with one the cars and driving it around the track the Decepticons suddenly attacked and he quickly got caught in the crossfire between them and the Autobots, and not too long after a blast from Megatrons cannon struck him, resulting in the loss of his life. Nitro Prime, feeling responsible for this did the one thing he could to revive Shinn, and that was to use the Linkmaster process on him. Later on out of gratitude Shinn agreed to help them and chose the form of a Cybertronian Jet from Nitro Prime's memory for his alternate mode and took the name Turbojet. Since then Shinn has been apart of the Autobots, as both a mechanic and a Linkmaster, naturaly he is partnered with Nitro Prime who was responsible for bringing him back to life.

History: A fast and powerful autobot warrior from the world of Speedia, where those that go the fastest, are the greatest, and like most inhabitants of Speedia his alternate form is a race car of sorts. Back when he was simply known as Nitro, the Decepticons attacked his homeworld he had promptly took charge with a band of other Speedian transformers to drive them back, impressed by these exploits Optimus Prime had requested that he join in the fight against the Decepticons, he promptly agreed to this request as soon as he was asked. Soon afterwards he moved up through the Autobot ranks until he finally reached the rank of Supreme Commander and recieved the Matrix of Leadership, thus becoming Nitro Prime.
Before coming to earth with the others he was given command of a ship which was crewed by a group of other Autobots, and that ship was the very same one that was attacked and invade by Megatron and his Decepticons which came crashing down to earth.

His goal is ultimatly a peaceful Utopian Cybertron, however he believes that the ends justify the means, and that the only way to accomplish his goal is to have every Cybertronian swear their allegience to the Decepticon Banner
History: Megatron was one of the first Decepticons and perhaps the most devoted. His personal goal is the unification of all Cybertron, under the Decepticon banner of course, and Utopian peace. He mercilessly fights to obtain this goal while strictly adhering to his belief of the ends justifying the means. Megatron is not and never was a peaceful robot. When the Decepticon movement began, he was one of the ringleaders. Megatron is a stunning tactical genius and will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. He is a team player, but will never hesitate to kill a traitor or retrieve a fallen comrade from the field of battle (with the possible exception of Starscream). During the recent energy crisis on Cybertron he tracked down and boarded an Autobot exploratory ship. His goal was to capture whatever energy the Autobots had and to finally destroy Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots and his nemesis. Megatron was let down when he found no energy and no Optimus Prime. Instead he found Nitro Prime, a new Autobot leader. Megatron considers Nitro Prime to be a fool who is playing at being a soldier. While some believe Megatron is a coward who only appears after his underlings fail, he usually leads by example and chooses to spearhead assaults on targets of his choosing. Most recently he has begun construction of a space bridge, which would allow the Decepticons on Cybertron to send reinforcements or allow the Decepticons stranded on Earth to return to their home while leaving the Autobots stranded behind. As a result of this goal, he requires raw materials and energy in the form of energon cubes. He also ruthlessly uses the Linkmaster ability to give combat superiority to the Decepticons.
