The claims in half this article are bullshit.


Contrary to what Matt Tiegler seems to think, the Dinobots do not NEED saving. They've been an integral part of the brand since the early days and featured multiple times in a variety of media.

And the idea that Hasbro would somehow "retire" the Dinobots is even stupider. Hasbro almost never lets ANYTHING out of their grasp; the most recent Transformers sub-line (Generations) features characters far more obscure than the beloved "space T-Rex."
