Blasphemy. they are the only ones Besides Cullen and welker worthy to do the roles.

As for Cybertron I'm so glad to see the US studio toss out a lot of the Japanese Story to keep it in the Armada-verse. Where I work we have a saying.

"Let the Japanese Create, animate and produce the Transformers all they want.....but there should be some kind of International law that keeps them from writing the story....let Us take care of that"

it all SUCKED.

there will never be anything as GOOD or as hard hitting as GEN1.

this whole "humans helping decided the fate of giant million year old robot aliens" is a load of BULLSHIT.

humans should simply be IN THE WAY.
Yeah, because humans never saved the day in G1.

I love your workplace's open bigotry. And for the record, they aren't "tossing out" a lot of the "Japanese Story," but more likely merely rewriting character names and throwing in the occasional Unicron reference. Regardless, you wouldn't actually know since the show hasn't even premiered.

Just to add to the way that Cartoon Network is already treating the show poorly, apparently the first episode they are airing is the fourth episode. Thus skipping the entire character introduction and premise set-up.

Here's the thing about Transformers cartoons. They don't matter. Because they are ONLY made to help sell the toys

Nah, the shows do matter. At least to an old fogey (26) like me that is only a Transfan because the original show was so kick ass.

yeah, and full of animation errors.

Point is, no matter how good a cartoon is, if there is a toyline attatched to it, it's ALL about the toys.

If Takara or Hasbro thought for ONE second that they could sell their toys just as well as they do without making a show or manga to go along with it, I assure you, they wouldn't spend the money to produce it

I can see where you're comming from w/ this statement. But both Chalke & Kaye are now iconic stables w/ reguards to Prime & Megs, just like Cullen & Welker are. So as long as they keep kicking ass w/ their voice work, I'm fine w/ having them both on board.

*Would go and hug his 8x10 photo of Transmetal II Megs signed by David Kaye...if I was at home...and it wasn't burried in the garage w/ all my other signed photos*

Frank Welker has stated in several interviews that he would jump at the chance to play Megatron again. But as it is now, all the dubbing for Transformers is located in Canada, which is not where he lives, and I don't think he'd move there or constantly be traveling there for one role, keeping the fact in mind that he has an extremely full schedule
