Black Version
"From Out of the Rain" was not only the worst Torchwood episode so far, it's one of the worst episodes of any TV show I've seen, ever. (And I watched Dukes of Hazzard when I was a kid.) It had an interesting premise completely undermined by some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard anywhere-- the writer seems to have fed names and a concept into his Random Cliche Generator, cranked up the Expository Dialogue dial to 11, and let it rip.
The author, P.J. Hammond, is apparently notorious for just writing whatever, then half-heartedly adapting it to whatever show he's writing for. This really became painfully obvious when
I think he must have pictures of RTD buggering a boyscout troop, because there's no way that script ever should have seen the light of day. Hell, the cast seemed to be embarrassed at the words they were forced to speak.
EPIC FAIL

they had a villain who steals your last breath AND HELLO, OWEN'S A FREAKIN' ZOMBIE, WHY ISN'T HE JUST MARCHING UP AND WASTING THE GUY ALREADY.
